Travis Franks is the Co-founder and CEO of WillowTree Custom Homes, a premier Southlake-based company specializing in the design and construction of high-quality custom homes. With extensive experience in the construction industry, Travis brings a wealth of knowledge in home building, construction management, and residential land sales and development. His passion lies in incorporating innovative techniques to ensure each WillowTree home is delivered on time, within budget, and exceeds client expectations, making the process seamless and enjoyable.

Travis is committed to maintaining an open and transparent process throughout the homebuilding journey. From initial design consultations to regular project updates and budget reviews, he ensures clients are fully informed and involved every step of the way. This dedication to transparency fosters trust and confidence, creating a collaborative experience that brings each client’s vision to life.

A native of Keller, Texas, Travis earned a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Construction Management from the University of North Texas. From an early age, he developed an appreciation for construction while spending summers working alongside his father on job sites. This hands-on experience fostered a lifelong passion for the craft.

Outside of his professional life, Travis enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, football, hunting, and embracing the “lake life.” Deeply rooted in his faith and community, Travis and his family are active members of White’s Chapel Methodist Church.

Travis resides in Southlake, Texas, with his wife, Kim, and their two children. His son, Riley, is a freshman at the University of Oklahoma, having graduated from Carroll ISD in 2024. His daughter, Addison, is a freshman at Carroll High School. Proudly, his children represent the third generation to attend Carroll ISD schools, reflecting the family’s strong ties to the community.
